Uli
Lenz
Jazz Pianist |
|
Members of The Malaysian-German Society, Penang, and their friends were in luck when Uli Lenz walked into their premises and played for them. This formidable pianist, who was probably on a holiday in Penang, was undaunted by the clubhouse, whose piano and upstairs room were obviously not conditioned for concerts. The jazz enthusiasts were entertained with such original as "Rainmakers Dance" (already on CD) as well as other compositions by this star of German jazz. "When I fall in Love" was offered as an example of how the talented young man dealt with oldies. |
