ISMAIL HASHIM was Art Lecturer at the Universiti Sains Malaysia as well as director of its Arts Centre. He has exhibited in several countries which include the USA, Asean countries, Italy, Bangladesh, and Australia. He began with paintings, drawings and printmaking. Since 1979 he has gone into art photography. His inquisitive camera discovers the light in the darkness of our existence.  Beloved cat
